The Draft Environment Impact Assessment Notification (EIA) 2020 proposes to replace the EIA Notification, 2006 and the same was opened to public comments in March, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the deadline for the submitting suggestions was extended  for submitting suggestions/recommendations to 11th August 2020.
